Tagal Tinopikon Park ツ

3 years of University, I am grateful for the privilege and opportunity to explore the natural beauty of Sabah together with my Uni besties.
Better get a day off at Tagal Tinopikon Park before vomit blood from radiation poisoning because of Uni report.
The car ride to Tagal Tinopikon Park is not that far, just took around 45 minutes. πŸ‘€

The freshness of the air brings a clear mind to me and I’ve never felt so refreshing before. Spending time in nature has allow us to be soothed and healed.
As we are getting away from city, the silence of nature has brought us a mysterious calming effect, allowing our soul to be at peace with our thoughts where troubles are temporarily forgotten. πŸ™†

Upon arrival, the first thing we experience is the suspending bridge, the shake bridge cause everyone to be wobbly, and at the same time made us felt excited for the trip. πŸ˜±
After the bridge, we met up with our tour guide,  he bring us to a place for us to settle down our stuffs. Then everyone changed into proper attire and got ready to have fun!
P/S  Personally, think that the toilet is not too dirty, πŸš» so no worries when visiting here.

OK up to the mountain we go! πŸ’¦
The guide demonstrated how to tap a rubber tree, and even allowed us to try it, although it’s a little bit difficult (hahaha).
Along the track, the guide shown and described all sorts of flora, and when we tried chewing on Tongkat Ali leaves, I instantly felt cheated. It was unimaginably bitter. πŸ˜

At the end of the hike, is a waterfall, Waterfall, WATERFALL!!!
Just like monkeys on the loose, we wasted no time to get into the waters.
Although the water is chills to the bones, it was fun nevertheless!
P/S ➜ Algae are all over the stones causing it to be slippery, caution is urged.

The main event of today trip – Water Rafting!
It was super exciting and I had a lot of fun πŸ’—
However, unfortunately the water flow is not rapid and the course is abit too short.
Although the journey for water rafting is "not too extreme",
but we still enjoyed playing all day long, and even topple over the rubber boat on accident (hahaha πŸ˜†)

According to the guide, if would have been more fun if it was raining the day before.

After rafting, we went fish feeding!
We’ve purchased a few packs of fish pellets and feel the fishes while dipping our feet in the waters.
Fishes swarming again and again over our feet is itchy scary πŸ’’ and enjoyable at the same time. πŸ˜›
Feeding the the fishes while holding the pellet is a different sensation due to the lip of the fish on the fingers.

After have our fill of fun, time for lunch 🍴
Food provided there is cooked using firewood by the local tribe women, it’s different in term of flavour.
While we’re eating, the park also prepared a performance of traditional Sumazau dance.

Batik Colouring followed after lunch!
Originally, I was worried that I lack the artistic talent and couldn’t draw anything.
But at the end, it was colouring! We each was given a Rafflesia on a piece of cloth to colour however we see fit.
Once we’re finish, staff helped us hang the cloth to dry, and it is quite interesting.

While waiting for our masterpiece to dry, it was free time for all yeah!
There are kampung plaything such as (Slingshot, Dart, Sumpit) made available for us at the park.
During this time, some of us went swimming, while some took pictures.

And after the our masterpiece has dried, we packed out stuff and went home!

Definitely I wish to come again with my buddies! πŸ‘¬πŸ‘
